Community Gardening – first and third Saturday of the month

The Friends of Ruskin Park and Ruskin Park Community Garden are working together to organise volunteering mornings on the first and third Saturday of every month.

Our activities will be different each time but there will usually be more than one to choose from. Join us from 10am to 12.30pm to:

* Get involved in the Community Garden, a space for growing vegetables together
* Work to improve areas across the wider park through simple gardening tasks such as pruning, weeding and bulb planting
* Help with ongoing projects such as improvements to our Wildlife Garden.
* Collect a litter picker and hoop if you prefer to help tidy up the park.

We often have expert help from Dr Iain Boulton from Lambeth Council and gardener Marion Palmer. This is a great opportunity to get outdoors, meet your neighbours and make a difference. Everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.

Tools and refreshments are provided. Please wear comfortable, waterproof clothes and sturdy shoes.

We are now meeting at the Community Garden (located near the main park entrance on Denmark Hill) with activities taking place either there or elsewhere in the park from 10am to 12.30pm.

Email if you have any questions.
