Friends of Ruskin Park Photography Competition 2015

Theme PARK LIFE

A competition to use photography in any way you see fit to make an image originated in Ruskin Park, on the theme Park Life.
There is a separate prize for the image judged as best from an entrant who is under the age of 16. (when the competition closes)
All entries will be accepted if they meet the following criteria:

  1. Size No larger than A3, 297 x 420mm, including frame or mount
  2. Print Any form of printing is acceptable so long as the original image was a photograph.
  3. Origination All prints must be from photographs originally taken in Ruskin Park.
  4. Frame All entries must be framed or mounted to enable them to be wall hung.
  5. Fee £3 for each entry.
  6. Number No more than three separate entries per person.
  7. Labelling The entry form (separate sheet) must be completed as instructed.
  8. Sale All entries must be for sale, at a price set by the artist which includes 30% sales commission.
  9. Insurance Friends of Ruskin Park, The Carnegie Library, Hunters Estate Agents assume no responsibility for insuring entries,
    or for any damage to submitted entries howsoever that occurs.
  10. Copyright Any submitted image may be used in publicity for the Friends of Ruskin Park, or by Hunters Estate Agents. Images
    used will be credited where-ever possible.
  11. Under 16s’ Date of birth and place of education must be provided on the entry form.

Prizes
A panel of judges will select for the exhibition and award the first prize of One Years Membership to the Tate Galleries ( 1 + 1
guest) , second prize of £50, and third prize of £25.

Entries can be submitted to The Carnegie Library, Herne Hill Rd., SE24 0AG, from Monday 15th June with the closing date for
submissions being Friday 26th June, at 5.30pm. Please bring the correct money
Selected work will be exhibited in The Carnegie Library, Herne Hill Rd., from Wednesday 1nd July until Saturday 1nd August 2015.
The exhibition may then be moved to Kings College Hospital, venue details to be confirmed.
Images not selected for the exhibition must be collected from The Carnegie Library before 4th July at 4.30pm. Artists will be
contacted using the contact information they provide.
Unsold work must be collected from the Carnegie Library by 30th August
Any work not collected from the Carnegie Library by Saturday 27th September may be disposed of.
By submitting work to The Friends of Ruskin Park Photography Competition 2015 participants are agreeing to the above conditions.
