Ruskin Park Community Harvest Day – Sunday September 30th, 12-6 at the Bandstand

We are working with Bringing our Communities Together to round off the summer with a fabulous community day for the whole family!

Updated: Tennis court refurbishment has started

Lambeth Council's contractor are about to start refurbishing the four tennis courts in Ruskin Park, which means the courts will be unavailable from early September for up to 8 weeks.

Ruskin Park’s Wheat Harvest

Volunteers met at the start of August to harvest the three varieties of wheat and fava beans growing in the park.

Bat Walk – Saturday 8th September, 7.30pm

Join us for a free Bat Walk around Ruskin Park. The walk will last an hour with an introductory talk by Dr Iain Boulton from Lambeth Council. 

Music at the Bandstand on Sunday 15th July – now starting at 12 noon

The concert on 15th July by South London Symphonic Winds will now take place from 12 noon until 2pm, in order to avoid a clash with the World Cup Final.

Successful restoration of Ruskin Park’s Portico shelter

We are delighted to see that work to restore Ruskin Park's Grade II listed Portico shelter has been completed, due to a successful partnership and some expert volunteers.

Summer Music at the Bandstand – Sunday 2nd September, 16th September

Our successful series of concerts at the Bandstand has returned.

Free Bat Walk – Saturday 21st April 8.15pm

Join us for a free guided night time bat walk in Ruskin Park with Dr Iain Boulton and his bat detectors, in partnership with the Friends of Carnegie Library.

Harrowing and Sowing Heritage Wheat – Saturday 17th February

The shire horses are returning to harrow our wheat growing field, and we will be sowing wheat and beans, on Saturday 17th February from 10am to 2pm.
