Planting a new orchard
We’re pleased to report that a new orchard has been planted in the park!
Lambeth council and gardening volunteers dug deep last Saturday to plant 12 fruit trees near the soon-to-open sauna area. Varieties include apple, plum, fig, quince, mulberry and damson.
A very big thank you to Liv Chester for making this happen – from the initial idea through to leading the planting.
