The Ruskin Park Summer Fete is a much-loved free community event.

We’re planning this year’s event which is taking place on Saturday 27th June 2026.

We will need plenty of volunteers to help, e.g. setting up on Friday and Saturday, working on stalls, selling raffle tickets, litter-picking and traffic management.

We’re particularly keen to secure help in a few key areas:

• A team to take down gazebos and put away equipment from 6pm on the day of the event. It’s great to have fresh volunteers for this final push.
• One or more people to take some good photos during the event.
• Someone to organise the collection of donated second hand books for our book stall.
