Team or corporate volunteering
We are always grateful when teams of volunteers visit Ruskin Park to undertake practical volunteering tasks and projects.
This can include self-organised groups or partner charities. For example, GoodGym Lambeth attend the park regularly to assist with gardening tasks, and Trees for Cities organise regular large volunteering days. A local college recently started attending the park to undertake litter-picking.
Ruskin Park is also an ideal location for a corporate volunteering day for employers of all sizes, where you can work together, get some exercise and make a real difference to wildlife and the local community. We recommend working with Lambeth Council who can provide a well-organised and supported day of volunteering including all tools and materials. A modest free is charged to cover associated costs and feedback from recent groups has been very positive.
