Thank you to our outgoing trustees

As a charity, the Friends of Ruskin Park trustees are volunteers who take responsibility for our activities, governance and finances.

We want to say a special thank you to three outgoing trustees who have made a big difference.

Julie Simpson stepped down as a trustee earlier in the year, having undertaken the role since we became a charity. She will continue to be a valued part of our team, including organising the hugely successful Ruskin Park Summer Fete.

Deepak Sardiwal and Jared Cotton are also stepping down in the coming months.

Deepak has made a huge difference to our communications with park users including through managing our newsletter, social media and email enquiries. He was recently elected as a councillor for Herne Hill and Loughborough Junction and we look forward to working with him in that role.

Jared has been a critical member of our team after stepping in as Treasurer last year, skilfully managing the charity’s finances. We wish him well when he returns home to New Zealand later in the year.
