The Boule d’Or – Saturday 28th June

The 21st Annual Boule d’Or petanque competition is taking place in Ruskin Park on Saturday 28th June. Teams from across London will compete for a small cash-prize in this super fun, family day.  Bring a picnic, come and support the teams and find out more about this popular French sport.

The competition runs from 9.30am until 5pm, on the small redgra court opposite the paddling pool. If you have what it takes to throw some boules and you would like to put a team together, please email the event organiser: Will Adamsdale (willadamsdale@gmail.com).

You need three people for a team, a cracking team name and £10 to enter.  Teams ideally consist of both experienced and novice players (there is a 12 year old age-restriction).  Bring your own set of boules – these are cheap and available online – but don’t be put off if you have none as there will be spare boules on the day.
