Photography Competition – entries close 31st July

Entries are now closed

It’s back, so get snapping! Yes, the Friends of Ruskin Park annual photography competition is now open for entries. This year’s theme is ‘Generation’, which is open to your own interpretation. Up to three entries per person are allowed. Photos must have been taken in Ruskin Park in 2022.

There are two categories:

  • Open -open to people of all ages
  • Under 16s – open to all ages 16 or under as of Sunday 31 July 2022

How to enter

All entries are via our online entry form. Entry is free but we ask everyone who is able, to donate £5 to the charity. All funds raised will go towards improving the park. The closing date for entries is Sunday 31 July 2022.

Prizes and judging

Local Camberwell estate agent Hunters are kindly sponsoring the photo competition, so we’re able to offer these prizes:

  • First prize: £75
  • Second prize: £50
  • Third prize: £25
  • Under 16s: £75

There is also an extra prize of £50 donated by the Camberwell Society who will judge its winner separately. The winning photo will feature on the cover of the Autumn edition of its Camberwell Quarterly.

The competition will be judged by our panel and their decision is final. The winners will be contacted by phone or email, and announced on the Friends of Ruskin Park website on 15 August.

Exhibition

We’ll showcase the winning photos and selected others at an exhibition in the park, as well as on our website and Facebook group.
