We are pleased to announce the winners of the Friends of Ruskin Park Photography Competition 2019, with generous support from Hunters Camberwell.

As we reported in July, charity Steel Warriors has reached agreement with Lambeth Council to bring a new outdoor calisthenics gym to Ruskin Park. Installation work is starting very soon.

A new free-to-use outdoor fitness space is coming to Ruskin Park in the next few months, built by charity Steel Warriors with funding from the Co-op.

We are delighted to be working with Froglife, who will be carrying out restoration of the main pond and additional works in the Wildlife Garden in September.

The Friends of Ruskin Park has been awarded grant funding from the Mayor of London’s Greener City Fund to revitalise the Wildlife Garden in 2019. Find out more and get involved.

Building on its success in previous years we are delighted to launch our Photography Competition for 2019. The theme this year has been specially chosen for our park’s namesake, John Ruskin.

An update from the Friends of Ruskin Park about our work to bring the Stable Block back into use to the benefit of the local community.

This summer and autumn, Friends of Ruskin Park is organising a programme of free events and activities to celebrate John Ruskin, his ideas and his influence.

Our ever-popular concert series at the Ruskin Park Bandstand, is returning for 2019 with performances fortnightly on Sundays from 3pm to 5pm.

The Summer Fete is our biggest community day and fundraiser and it wouldn’t be possible without people offering to volunteer on the lead up and on the day.

The Ruskin Park Summer Fete is taking place on Saturday 22nd June 2019 from 1pm to 6pm at the Bandstand.
